The pursuit of memorable underwater photographs requires a particular set of circumstances. You need to be ready, in terms of you equipment, camera settings, and ability to realise your creative vision. You need engaging subjects and scenery. And you need to be in the right place at the right time to make the most of great photographic opportunities.
If your primary goal when diving, or snorkelling, or feediving, is to create underwater images, then going on regular dive tours will be very limiting. Underwater photography workshops are great, but you will find yourself competing for subjects and one-to-one teaching with a dozen other enthusiastic shooters.
I offer bespoke trips which are designed specifically to meet your needs as an underwater photographer. My goal is to make sure every element is stacked in your favour when the moment comes to click the trigger.
So what does it mean in practice? Well, think of me as your travel agent, tour guide, underwater photography coach, dive buddy and instructor all rolled into one. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit many of the top diving spots in the world over the last twenty years and have built up a network of contacts which means I can get you to the right place, with the right people, and at the right time. The world is very much our oyster - there is no set programme for locations - if you have somewhere you want to go, we can arrange it. If you would like a recommendation, I have plenty!
I will take care of all the boring admin and accompany you to ensure the trip runs smoothly on location - the idea is to provide V.I.P. level service from start to finish. I will be on hand to do anything from carry your gear, help coax your underwater photography to the next level, or fine-tune your post-processing, or even provide a restaurant recommendation!
If you are travelling with family or non-diving friends, we can build an itinerary where everyone gets what they want. As a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, if anyone in your party needs a diving course - no problem!
These trips are highly personalised, 5 star service experiences and I will do everything to ensure that all your needs are met. Once the trip is over, for me, you become a part of my underwater photography family and I will be available on an ongoing basis to help you with any underwater photography tips and advice.
